The Adult Recreation Center is open Monday thru Friday for adults who are 50 years of age and older.  From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, older adults are welcome to come in and socialize.

NEW! Pickle Ball at Smith Park

Stay in shape and get some fresh air!  Join your friends in a friendly game of Pickle Ball at the Smith Park tennis courts. Games will be held Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 am to 12 pm.

NEW! Open Computer Time for Older Adults

Need to check your email or want to surf the internet, but don't have a computer?  Come enjoy free, open computer time!  No need to pre-register, just show up ready to surf the web.
Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Padillo Room Lounge, 10 am to 12 pm.

NEW! Introduction to Computers for Active Seniors Class

We are offering a brand new computer class for older adults. Computer skills are essential for everyone these days, so this is a great opportunity for those who want to learn.

The class is designed for beginners with limited computer knowledge. Under the direction of instructor Alan Ng, participants will learn basic computer skills, how to navigate the world wide web and terms that they might have heard before but weren’t quite sure what they meant. This class is interactive and will help participants learn how to operate a computer with hands on training.

The classes will be held at the Adult Recreation Center, 324 S Mission Dr. on Fridays from 12:30 to 1:15 pm  Registration is open for the low price of $50 for residents and $55 for non-residents, the next cycle of classes begin 10/28. There will be a $10 supply fee payable to the instructor at the first class.                            

Senior Services Case Management

The Senior Services Case Manager can provide referral information for needs such as
housing, Medi-Care and Medi-Cal, legal services, health counseling, and much more.  For more information, please visit our Case Management page. 

    Grapevine Press Newsletter

    Monthly newsletter with information on upcoming activities and programs for older adults.
