Robin Scherr is a strategic planner with over 20 years of professional public, private, and nonprofit sector experience in resource development, project management, and community engagement. She has a broad range of experience in affordable housing, community revitalization, and historic preservation.  Among her previous jobs, Robin was a Project Manager for the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles and an Economic Development Manager for Barrio Planners, Inc.  She has also worked as a consultant for the Trust for Public Land, Titan Group, and American Apparel.

Robin has a Master of Planning from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis.  She has a Certificate in Urban & Regional Planning Studies from the London School of Economics.

Robin enjoys exploring the rich history of San Gabriel, sampling the city’s many authentic and diverse ethnic restaurants, and shopping at the local building and construction supply, nursery, and specialty stores.
