SAN GABRIEL ACHIEVEMENTS
Neighborhood Improvement Services(NIS)- The Neighborhood Improvement Services Division investigated 58 cases and closed 24 for the month of July. Fifty one follow up investigations were conducted resulting in the abatement of 24 cases.To visit the NIS website please click here.

- Honored by the Los Angeles Conservancy for the La Laguna de San Gabriel Historic Structures Report and Preservation Plan (2009) prepared by Friends of La Laguna and the Parks and Recreation Department.
- Winner of 2007 Blueprint Award from the Southern California Association of Governments for "Valley Vision: A Neighborhood Sustainability Plan"
- Winner of 2005 Los Angeles Section APA Award for "Ingredients for Success: Comprehensive General Plan of the City of San Gabriel."
- Winner of the 2005 San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership Award for revitalization of the San Gabriel Mission District.
- Winner of the 2003 Los Angeles Section APA Award for residential design guidelines.
