Asian Youth Center
100 West Clary Avenue, 309-0622. A non-profit, community-based organization offering programs to address needs of youth and families of all ethnicities, with an emphasis on Asian immigrants. Programs include: Basketball Teams/Tournament, Open Recreation (pool table, ping pong, air hockey) Homework Assistance/Tutoring, Computer use, Day Care (grades 1-8), Community Service Opportunities, Kung-Fu. All services provided free of charge (except Day Care and Kung-Fu).

Chamber of Commerce

A Division of Santa Anita Family Service

Family Resource Center
102 East Broadway, 252-2431. Promoting the healthy development of youth and their families through community partnerships that support full academic, social, personal and emotional growth. Services include immunizations, health clinic, emergency food assistance, emergency transportation assistance, counseling, legal assistance referrals, tutoring, mentoring, and housing referrals.

Friends of La Laguna (FoLL) has partnered with the city of San Gabriel to preserve and rehabilitate one of our city’s most treasured resources, La Laguna de San Gabriel Playground (aka “Monster” or “Dinosaur” Park), located in Vincent Lugo Park. FoLL’s goal is to educate our community regarding the story of the artist, Benjamin Dominguez and San Gabriel’s historic playground. FoLL is working to secure funding from grants and private donations. When all necessary funding is secured, FoLL and the City of San Gabriel will begin rehabilitation of the playground. Friends of the San Gabriel Library
A non-profit organization that supports the work of the Library and helps bring it to the attention of the community so that its many services may continue. Meetings are held at 1:00 p.m. the third Tuesday of every month (except December) in the Library Community Room. La Casa Community Center
