Youth Summer Programs 

Summer Day Camp  Summer Day Camp Field Trip  

Summer Day Camp
Our Cougar Adventure Camp at Coolidge School features a variety of activities for youth, grades 1-8. Each week, participants will visit a fun and educational location that matches the theme for the week. Camp is limited and fills up quickly, so be sure to sign up when registration begins May 9.

Summer Recreation 
Summer recreation sites for participants ages 18 and under, will be at Smith Park (6/6-8/5) Mon-Fri 9 am-2 pm, Roosevelt Elementary (6/6-8/5) Mon-Fri 10 am-4 pm, and Vincent Lugo Park (6/13-8/5) 10 am-1 pm. No registration is required.
*This is a free program.

Bulldog Sports Camp
This camp is designed for middle school students. It runs Mon-Fri 12:30 pm-3:30 pm and reinforces basic fundamentals of basketball and volleyball. Stay tuned for more information about our Sports Camp at Jefferson Middle School this summer!

After School Program At Coolidge, McKinley, Roosevelt, Washington & Wilson Elementary!

There is a brand new after-school program at your child's elementary school!  Your child will get assistance with homework, do crafts and play games. This free program will be available to elementary school youth grades 2 through 5.  Your new after school program will now run five days a week 2:30 to 5:00pm and 1:30 to 5:00pm on Wednesdays.

Recreation Leaders will be at each school site  to collect permission slips for this exciting new program!

Community Services Award Program

Annually, the Community Services Commission honors the community of San Gabriel for their outstanding contributions to the youth and adult programs in our community. The Commission has established two annual awards that will be presented at their June Commission Meeting. 

The Community Services Commission is requesting your assistance by submitting the names of San Gabriel residents who have extended themselves on behalf of the youth and older adults of the City of San Gabriel.
