About EV Charger Permits
Pursuant to Assembly Bill 1236 and Assembly Bill 907, the City of San Gabriel offers a streamlined permit application for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, also known as Electric Vehicle Service Equipment.
Steps to Apply
- Download the EV Charging Permit Application form (link below) which includes an installation requirement checklist.
- Complete the fillable form on your computer using Adobe Acrobat Reader or any other PDF software. Print the form out and email the completed application to commdevinfo@sgch.org along with the plans for the project.
- The Building and Safety counter is open for plan check submittal and permit issuance Monday through Friday 8:00am-11:30am. Please contact us at 626-308-2806 or email commdevinfo@sgch.org to schedule an appointment for the afternoon.
