July is Parks Make Life Better month! To help us celebrate we are challenging the San Gabriel Community to a submit a digital photo at one of your local San Gabriel parks. The two winners will be showcased in our fall edition of the Grapevine Guide. We will select a photo from the age categories of 12 and under, 13 and over, as well as based on criteria below.
Criteria Impact - Sense that is received when first viewing the photo. Creativity - Using imagination or creative idea. Composition – Holds the viewer in the image and prompts
the viewer to look where the creator intends.
One photo entry per person

All participants must follow all local and state guidelines. Guidelines include practicing good hygiene by wearing masks, washing hands, practicing social distancing by staying at least 6 feet from other people, not gathering in groups and staying out of crowded places. Alcohol is prohibited at all concert venues. Dogs and other pets, with the exception of registered assistance guide dogs are discouraged due to safety issues and expected large crowd and loud noise conditions.
Families are encouraged to run, walk and roll through San Gabriel at their own pace during the fourth week of July. Join the photo scavenger hunt on the suggested routes while listening to a free Spotify playlist artfully curated by department staff!
First 100 participants registered will be entered into an opportunity drawing! The winner will be announced at the August 6 drive-in Mariachi Concert. To register or receive additional information visit the event page and lets get moving!
