Earlier today, hundreds of participants walked from the San Gabriel Mission to the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Monument to commemorate the City of Los Angeles’ 237th birthday and to recognize San Gabriel as the birthplace of the Los Angeles region.
An annual tradition, the event follows the path charted by the Los Pobladores when they first set out to Los Angeles in September 1781. We’ve included several photos from today’s walk below:
