On Monday, October 15, 2018, at approximately 6:17 a.m., a fatal hit-and-run traffic collision occurred in the City of San Gabriel. Just prior to the collision, an elderly Asian male was walking southbound in an unmarked crosswalk at the T- intersection of Valley Boulevard and Stevens Avenue.

The collision occurred when a white colored SUV, possibly a late 2000s Toyota RAV4 (pictured above), was traveling eastbound in the number one lane of Valley Boulevard at Stevens Avenue.

The suspect vehicle struck and killed the elderly Asian male. The suspect vehicle sustained damage to its front passenger side bumper, hood and windshield. The suspect vehicle was last seen eastbound on Valley Boulevard toward Del Mar Avenue. The above video was from a surveillance camera at Valley Boulevard and Stevens Avenue.The vehicle is white in color with dark tinted rear windows.
