San Gabriel, it's time for another construction update! In this briefing, we're going to focus on the 2018 Accelerated I-Bank Project. For some context, the City Council approved the $975,472.30 project in October of this year to repave five sections of roadway.
Today, we'll be focusing on the work performed on Cresta Avenue between Las Tunas Drive and Hermosa Drive and Mount Vernon Drive north of Alhambra Road.
Let's begin.
Cresta Avenue between Las Tunas Drive and Hermosa Drive While major work has yet to begin on Cresta Avenue, construction crews have already completed ADA-compliant curb ramps at Las Tunas Drive and Hermosa Drive. Construction crews have also replaced damaged curb, gutter and sidewalk segments on Cresta Avenue.

Here's a look at the reconstructed sidewalk ramp, which features a truncated-dome pad.
