We’re proud to present our fifth annual award-winning Dumpling & Beer Fest in the historic Mission District on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The event will include over 20 beer varieties, more food vendors, three DJs, live entertainment and even dancing dumplings!
We are also happy to announce that Jimmy Wong – who will star as Ling from Disney’s live action Mulan – as this year’s Dumpling and Beer Fest host! Wong is also known for his hit YouTube Channel Feast of Fiction and for starring in Video Game High School. Jimmy will be hosting the dumpling eating contest as well as the best & most original dumpling contests.
Headlining this year’s event is Mestizo Beat, a collective of musicians based out of Los Angeles who compose and perform music influenced by the early 1970s era funk, soul, afro-beat, and afro-Cuban genre. In addition, there will be a second stage to feature local acts in the expanded event area.
Admission to the event is free and open to the general public. Dumplings and other foods may be purchased directly from vendors and food trucks. Purchase your unlimited beer tasting ticket for only $29 through Eventbrite until October 4 at 5:00 p.m. Tickets will be $40 at the door until 8:30 p.m. or while supplies last. You must be 21 or older and present valid government issued ID to obtain your wristband at check-in.
