During the December 20 City Council reorganization meeting, the November 8, 2022 election results were declared. We bid farewell to outgoing Council Member Carina Rivera as she ends her term on the City Council. The City Council would like to thank Council Member Rivera for her dedicated service and for her support to the community.

Newly elected Council Members Eric Chan and John Wu, and re-elected Council Member Denise Menchaca, City Treasurer Kevin Sawkins, and City Clerk Julie Nguyen were sworn in to begin their four-year terms. They were sworn in and celebrated by their families, the community and several officials from neighboring cities and representatives from our county, state and federal legislators.
