New this year for San Gabriel residents is priority registration for swim classes at the Smith Park pool this summer. Each swim class is priced at $45 per person. 

Registration begins on the following dates:

For San Gabriel Residents

• Monday, May 8 and Tuesday, May 9 - Register in person at the Community Services Department (250 S Mission Dr, San Gabriel) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Wednesday, May 10 - Register in person or over the phone.

For Everyone

• Monday, May 15 - Register in person, over the phone, or online at SGPRD.org.

In order to sign up for a level 2 or higher class, a swim assessment recommendation or a report card stating your child passed the previous level must be presented. Lifeguards will be on-site to test your child’s swim level on Friday, May 5, 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. prior to the registration.
