Surf into summer tomorrow evening, June 9, at the second annual Surf’s Up San Gabriel street festival from 6:00-9:30 p.m. in the historic Mission District.
The event will feature great food trucks plus dessert, a beer and wine garden, free live music from Beach Boys cover band Woodie and the Longboards, a hula dance performance, a free screening of “Surf’s Up” the movie, free kids’ carnival games, a photo booth, face painting, balloon animals, henna tattoos and more. The event is free to attend and it’s a great way to spend a fun evening under the stars with fellow San Gabriel community members.
Free parking will be available throughout the Mission District area, see the map attached to this newsletter for specific information. Remember, Mission Drive will be closed to traffic for this event starting at 3:30 p.m. from Santa Anita to Broadway and will not reopen until 11 p.m.
