The summer recreation program at Washington Elementary will come to an end on Friday, July 1 and Bulldog Sports Camp at Jefferson Middle School will end on Friday, July 8.

These programs have provided local children with opportunities to enjoy fun and exciting activities, improve their sports skills and make lasting memories and friendships.

Even though these programs are coming to an end, there are still plenty of activities for the family left this summer in San Gabriel. Summer programs at Smith Park, Roosevelt Elementary and Vincent Lugo Park will continue through Friday, Aug. 5 and Summer Day Camp at Coolidge Elementary will continue until Friday, Aug. 12. Also, “Parks After Dark” continues at Smith Park on Tuesday evenings and Vincent Lugo Park on Wednesday nights from 6-7 p.m. through Aug. 3.
