Popular Americana band Bumptown will be back in San Gabriel this Thursday for a free concert at Vincent Lugo Park, part of the city's Summer Nights series.

Bumptown, which was a crowd favorite at last year's Summer Nights concert, describes itself as a "high-energy dance band committed to bringing happiness to the stage with music that feels good." The concert begins at 6:30 p.m., so it's the perfect chance to grab a blanket, a picnic dinner and your dancing shoes and come down to Vincent Lugo Park for a fun night with the family, free of charge.

This week for the first time, there will be two food trucks at the concert. Austyn's will serve delicious burgers and fries, and classic favorite Paradise Cookies and Ice Cream will have ice cream sandwiches and more.

Summer Nights continues through Aug. 11. The remaining events are:

July 7 at 6:30 p.m.: Americana in the Park – Bumptown at Vincent Lugo Park
July 14 at 6:30 p.m.: Family Concert – Jelly of the Month Club at Vincent Lugo Park
and at 8:30 p.m.: Movie: “Minions”
July 21 at 6:30 p.m.: Stage 626 at Mission Playhouse Plaza
July 28 at 7:30 p.m.: Parks Make Life Better Month Celebration at Vincent Lugo Park
and at 8:30 p.m.: Movie: “Zootopia”
Aug. 4 at 6:30 p.m.: Viva Mariachi at Vincent Lugo Park
Aug. 11 at 6:30 p.m.: Jazz & The Roots of Jazz (concert and movie) at Mission Playhouse Plaza
