Participants in this year's summer swim lessons are invited to attend the annual summer Aquatics Safety Fair on Monday, Aug. 8 from 6-8 p.m. at Smith Park Pool.
The free event is an opportunity to learn important water safety skills, witness lifeguards demonstrate lifesaving rescues, interact with Community Services Department aquatics staff and more. Attendees will also have a chance to enjoy a “dive-in” movie at 8:30 p.m., with a showing of “Finding Nemo.” Free pizza and popcorn will be served.
For more information contact Community Services Manager Tom Boecking at tboecking@sgch.org or call Smith Park Pool at 626.287.9421.
Any person with a disability who requires a modification or accommodation in order to participate should direct such request to the Community Services Department at 626.308.2875 at least 48 hours before the event, if possible.
