The air in Vincent Lugo Park will be filled with the melodies of mariachi this Thursday, Aug. 4, in the second-to-last Summer Nights event of the season.
The free concert will feature all-female mariachi group Mariachi Lindas Mexicanas and will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Vincent Lugo Park, corner of Wells and Ramona Street.
The final event in the Summer Nights series will be a free concert and movie at the Mission Playhouse on Aug. 11 featuring jazz band Ray Fuller and Friends. The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. and then at dusk (or about 8:30 p.m.), attendees can watch a screening of "St. Louis Blues (1958)" starring Nat King Cole and Eartha Kitt.
