It's football season and the Community Services Department is getting in on the action.
The department will host an NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Jefferson Middle School, 1372 E Las Tunas Drive starting at 10 a.m. Participation in the competition is free for boys and girls ages 6-15.
Part of the NFL’s Play 60 program, the Punt, Pass and Kick football competition allows local youths to showcase their football skills. All individual scores will be based on distance and accuracy. The top finishers from each of the age groups at the local competition will advance to a sectional competition and will have a chance to go on and compete at an actual NFL game. Many current and former NFL players have taken part in this competition.

Any person with a disability who requires a modification or accommodation in order to participate should direct such request to the Community Services Department at 626.308.2875 at least 48 hours before the event, if possible.
