Attendees at this Saturday's 3rd Annual San Gabriel Lunar New Year Festival will have a unique opportunity to win a free business class plane ticket to Shanghai, courtesy of Delta Air Lines, in the Flyaway Sweepstakes.

Enter to win at www.sglunarnewyear.org/flyaway. The winner will be announced at the festival stage at 5 p.m. and the winner must be present to claim the prize. Interested attendees can also share the contest flyer on social media to get an additional entry into the raffle. Visit the festival pages on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for more details.

In addition to this exciting sweepstakes opportunity, the Lunar New Year Festival will feature tons of family fun, including food vendors, a beer and wine garden, chalk art contest, dance crew tournament, crafts vendors, shopping and more. There will be live entertainment all day on the outdoor festival stage and inside the beautiful Mission Playhouse, starting with the traditional Lion and Dragon Dances and concluding with festival headliner Clara C. 

The San Gabriel Lunar New Year Festival will go from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28 in the historic Mission District (Mission Drive between Mission Road and Broadway). Admission to the festival is free. 

Free parking will be available at the Mission Playhouse, the Park and Ride Lot on Mission Drive and the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center. For the event, Mission Drive (between Mission Road and Broadway) and Santa Anita Street (from Broadway to McGroarty) will be closed from 10 p.m. on Jan. 27 until 8 a.m. on Jan. 29.

The festival is presented by the City of San Gabriel, along with Jade Sponsors Hilton San Gabriel and LA 18 KSCI-TV, Silver Sponsors Athens Services, Delta Air Lines, Pasadena Star-News and 99 Ranch Market, and Bronze Sponsors San Gabriel Mission Playhouse, First General Bank, Citizens Business Bank and San Gabriel Valley Medical Center.
