May is "Older Americans Month" and, to celebrate, the Community Services Department will host the 8th Annual Health & Wellness Fair on Thursday, May 11 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The fair will take place in the Padillo Room of the Adult Recreation Center, 324 S. Mission Drive.

Participants can gather free information on health and wellness services available throughout the San Gabriel Valley. Services available on the day of the event include blood pressure checks, glucose testing and hearing screenings.

There is also the opportunity to have lunch at San Gabriel's older adult lunch program. The suggested donation for lunch is $3 and participants will need to RSVP no later than May 4. Must be 60 years and older to receive a lunch.
